The paintings focuse on the watercolor technique. The series of the watercolours „Fishboned stories” has been inspired by the mood of Bolesław Leśmian’s poetry and tales. Leśmian was one of the most known and influential polish poets of the early XXth century. His work presents coexistence of two worlds. The first one proves a world of reality, bouned to and encased in its physical structure, while the other is a mysterious one, a world deriving from imagination and impression. Therefore, that is rather the hidden, “camouflaged” interior of the landscape than its visible, physical structure that proves to be a subject of the paintings. The "spirits" of the places are symbolized by figures of birds and animals or their remainings - corps, bones; hidden in the thicket.
